In 1980, when Jerusalem was declared the capital of the reborn State of Israel, the Embassies of the world relocated to Tel Aviv under the threat of an Arab oil embargo. That's when the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem was born: to show Christian support for Israel's undivided capital, recognizing the freedom of worship that Israel guarantees to people of all faith in the Holy City.

Three decades later, we continue to let the people of Israel know that millions of Christians around the world support their sovereign claim to the united city of Jerusalem. .
