"For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. After being made alive, he went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits— to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand—with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him." (1 Peter 3:18-22)

Happy Resurrection day! Today we celebrate Jesus rising from the dead and making a way for us to come to God! Uniquely, at the same time we celebrate this resurrection Sunday, we are also in the middle of the Passover holiday!

As you celebrate this Resurrection Sunday, we invite you to join us by watching President Dr. Jürgen Bühler explain more about the biblical significance of Passover and the resurrection of Jesus Christ!

The ICEJ wishes you and your family a blessed Passover and Resurrection Sunday from Jerusalem!

Ethiopian Jews Celebrate First Passover in Israel

In 2018, the ICEJ partnered with the Jewish Agency to help new Olim from Ethiopia prepare for their first Passover Seder meal in Israel. A pre-Seder Passover meal was held at Charuv Absorption Center in Beersheva on March 20th, 2018 equipping the new Ethiopian Olim to celebrate the biblical feast of Passover.

This week, the ICEJ and Jewish Agency are hosting brand new Ethiopian Olim for another pre-Passover Seder educational meal celebration and providing them with supplies and special foods to hold their own Seder meals on Passover.

We invite you to watch highlights of this prophetic restoration and bless these new Olim as they celebrate their very first Passover Seder meal here in their promised land of Israel!

Impacting Israel During Passover

Passover. One of the most significant holidays in Israel’s history. A time where the whole nation remembers God’s miraculous deliverance out of Egypt and the bondage of slavery.

Passover is a wonderful season for the ICEJ to bless those in need with gifts and encourage their spirits. It can be difficult financially to prepare your home and table with the significant items needed to celebrate Passover. It is such a privilege for us to help meet those needs and connect our hearts with theirs.

Because of your support, we are able to make a difference in the lives of those who need assistance.

Yom HaShoah 2018

Israel remembers the victims of the Holocaust on Yom HaShoah – a Memorial Day that falls on April 12th this year.

All Israelis will once again stop in their tracks and remain silent for a minute to remember the ones they lost to human hatred and violence during World War II. The ICEJ will stand together with the people of Israel in their moment of mourning and reflection.

On this day we will also continue making our love known to the Holocaust Survivors through caring for them at the Haifa Home for Holocaust Survivors. It costs around $2,000 per month to care for each Holocaust survivor living in our Haifa facility.

Show your support today by sending your most generous gift:

Passing on the Passover Blessing!

Holocaust Survivors living at the Haifa Home enthusiastically helped assemble the Passover packages to help other families in need. These Survivors know what it is to be in need during Passover, so it is their honor to help pass on the Passover blessing. Mordecai, one of the Holocaust Survivors who lives at the Haifa Home, said, “We are packing food for those in need, so who better to help than us Holocaust Survivors because we know what it is to be hungry.”

Please join us in passing on this blessing to as many Jewish families as possible this Passover.

I am a Partner: Mary's Story

"I remember the first night I was able to watch my handiwork on stage... I just started crying." Hear how Mary Norris uses her gift to partner with the ICEJ by serving at the Feast of Tabernacles.

The Forest of Life is an opportunity to support Holocaust Survivors while bringing life to the land of Israel.

Ethiopian Jews Returning Home

Watch the latest arrival of Ethiopian Jews at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv!

After many years of waiting, Ethiopian Jews are now being reunited with their families in Israel. The ICEJ had the amazing privilege of not only sponsoring the whole flight, but also welcoming them home.

You can be a part of this modern day miracle...
