Bomb Shelters

As Israel’s security threats have increased over the years, the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem has responded by providing portable bomb shelters to vulnerable Israeli communities along Israel’s borders with Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria. From Kerem Shalom in the south to Misgav Am in the Golan Heights, there are now over 150 ICEJ donated shelters in place to protect Israeli civilians in times of crisis. In a multi-front war, experts anticipate that over a thousand projectiles could be fired into Israel every day. This is alarming considering that about 30% of Israelis living in proximity to these borders do not have functioning bomb shelters near their homes. Local residents assure us that these ICEJ sponsored shelters have indeed saved many lives, and given families living in vulnerable border communities the peace of mind they need to stay put.
