The Christian Friends of Yad Vashem in partnership with International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) are delighted to announce our upcoming and inspiring yearlong series entitled “Life, Hatred and Hope”. We will go on a journey covering the moving experiences of the Jewish People before, during and after the horrors of the Holocaust.

We invite you to join us and participate in this new and indispensable webinar series consisting of twelve monthly encounters. We will present six stimulating and thought-provoking themes over the course of the year, with each theme consisting of two lectures.

The themes are:

  • Judaism and Antisemitism
  • Jewish Life between the two World Wars
  • Jewish Ghettos in occupied Europe
  • Concentration and death camps
  • The Return to Life
  • Remembrance

Each session will take place monthly on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm Israel time, 12:00 pm EST. Mark your calendar for the first two lectures in the series.

  • Wednesday February 24 – Rabbi Moshe Cohn will open the series with the lecture “Who are the Jews?”
  • Wednesday March 24 – Rev. Malcolm Hedding will present "The History of Christian Antisemitism"
