ISRAELIS FLOCK TO FEAST FINALE

As the Prime Minister of Israel stepped down from the podium at the United Nations in New York on Thursday, thousands of Christians from all around the world joined with Israeli dignitaries and guests in Jerusalem to demonstrate their love and support for Israel.

Addressing the crowd in the light of Benjamin Netanyahu’s stark warning to the world body about its abandonment of Israel, the Executive Director of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem Dr. Jürgen Bühler declared: “The United Nations may not support Israel, but dear friends, tonight you have Christians from over a hundred nations here.”

“These are the true United Nations!”

“They pray for Israel,” Dr. Bühler continued, “they support the state of Israel, they are defending Israel day and night. Ladies and gentlemen, the united nations are here.”

Among the many international representatives gathered in the Pais arena in Jerusalem was a delegation of 20 Parliamentarians from the Ivory Coast who came at the urging of their President who is seeking closer ties with Israel.

Others included pilgrims from the most far flung of Pacific Islands, Rotuma.

“The Bible says, the Word of the Lord will go out of Jerusalem to the ends of the earth.,” said ICEJ International Director Juha Ketola. “Today the ends of the earth are coming back to bless the Jewish people!”

The 36th annual Feast of Tabernacles celebration concluded with the singers from Moscow’s Grand Choir, directed by world-famous conductor Lev Kontorovich, leading the gathering in the Israeli national anthem, Hatikvah.

“We will continue to bless the nation of Israel,” promised Bühler to the Israeli guests. “It is your Bible that tells us to do so and we are your ambassadors all around the world.”
